Refund Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
Cancel before printing for a full refund
You can cancel for a full refund if you ask before your letter goes to print, which means the same business day you ordered, before 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Orders placed on weekends or holidays can be cancelled until 11:59 PM ET on the next business day. Email hello@clownograms.com with your order email and we'll take care of it. Once a letter has gone to print, it can't be cancelled.
Misprints and lost mail
If your letter arrives misprinted or damaged, or is lost in the mail, email us and we'll reprint and resend it at no charge. If a reprint isn't possible, we'll refund you.
Undeliverable addresses
If a letter comes back undeliverable because the address was wrong, we can resend it to a corrected address, or refund you.
Refused or held orders
If we refuse or cancel an order under our Terms (for example a message that breaks our rules, an address on the do-not-clown list, or too many anonymous letters to one address), you get a full refund.
Other refunds
Because every letter is personalized, we don't offer refunds for letters that were printed and mailed correctly.
Timing
Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few more days to post the refund.
